We gave Kiera her first bath on Friday. I had been procrastinating on this because I was afraid she would scream and cry the whole time. This picture is at the end of the bath and she actually seemed more happy at the end than at the start - didn't shed a single tear! Maybe she is going to be a water baby like her mom and dad. We decided give her the bath in the kitchen sink lined with towels. It worked pretty well, but definitely needed two adults - one to hold her and one to wash her.Good news at her weight check last Monday. She was up to 8 pounds 15 ounces. She had gained 9 ounces. Still not at her birth weight of 9 pounds 4 ounces, so we continue to supplement my nursing with formula. We go to the doctor this Thursday for her one month (can't believe it!) checkup.
I forgot to post this picture of Killian checking out his little sister. This was taken Valentine's weekend. Killian was still a little sick, so he didn't get too close.
We took our first trip out as a family of four yesterday. We went to Erin and Jon's housewarming party (I forgot to bring the camera). Erin and Jon rent the house in Seabrook from us. Hurricane Ike visited in September and brought about 3 feet of water into the house. Chris did a great job working with the contractors and insurance company to get it back into livable condition. In fact, practically everything inside the house is new except the toilets and the kitchen sink! It looks great and we know Erin and Jon are happy to be home again.

Bath time! Grayson will be getting his first real bath sometime this week-the belly button is getting ready to fall off. I'm jealous that you can get out of the house-Gray isn't supposed to go out in public places until he's 6 weeks old...so I guess maybe 4 weeks more?!?!?!
What a cutie! I can't wait to meet her. I think she looks like Chris in that picture of her in the sink...
