First "Swim"

Killian has been asking to go to the neighborhood pool every day. Chris and Killian rode their bikes there earlier this week. Yesterday we all loaded up in the car and Kiera had her first swim. She's wearing her ladybug rash guard that helps protect her from the sun. This is Kiera in the baby pool.

A better look at the ladybug while she's lounging in the shade! That's where we stayed most of the time while Killian played.Kiera had her 4 month checkup and shots earlier this week. She weighed 14 lb 12 oz (75th percentile) and is 24.5 inches (60th percentile). Doctor said she is very healthy and since breastfeeding is going fine there is no need to start her on solids until she's 6 months. The vaccinations went okay. She was not nearly as sleepy as her 2 month shots so that made me happy.

Four Months Old

Kiera is now 4 months old! She's wearing a Stanford shirt - where her grandpa went to college. You can see how she's grown if you look back at the "One Month Old" post in March. I took her picture on the same rug.
Chris and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on June 3rd. We went on our first date since Kiera was born. My friend Kris watched Kiera. Chris and I went to Boondoggles Pub where we had our first date. Then we went to a new place on Clear Lake - Sam's Boat. They have an awesome view of the lake and we were just in time to watch the pretty sunset. On our way home we stopped at Sonic for the root beer floats they were giving away that night!

My company had a crawfish boil last Friday. Here we are enjoying the party.

Chris' Aunt Bonnie has been in this week from Massachusetts so we have visited with family several nights this week. On Thursday we went to Rock the Dock in Kemah
